CNC85X115 case and clamping

Case and Mount Assembly for CNC85x115 PV Panel (STAR SOLAR)

This case and mounting system is designed to securely house the STAR SOLAR CNC85x115 PV panel and integrate it with a camera-mount-compatible bracket. The assembly is optimized for 3D printing and outdoor use.

Main Components (3D Printed):

Front Cover – Printed with supports (required for rain spout)
Panel Mount – Printed with supports (front side down for best results)
Arm Bracket – Printed without supports
Arm – Printed without supports
Pipe Clamp – Printed with supports (due to steep angle of adapter bracket)
Note: The pipe clamp can also be reused for other projects with similar mounting dimensions.

Required Hardware:

2 × M5 × 20 mm panhead screws
2 × M5 cap nuts
4 × M3 nuts
2 × M3 × 14 mm panhead screws
2 × M3 × 20 mm panhead screws

Use 1K contact power glue to attach the PV panel and the front cover to the panel mount.
Ensure the glue does not block the rain spouts located along the wider sides of the front cover.

Installation Notes:

Mounted to a 26.4 mm steel pipe, which serves as the post for my weather station.

All parts were printed in standard PLA, then coated with two layers of spray paint after assembly to improve weather resistance.

Extruder Temp: 205 °C
Bed Temp: 60 °C
