Armitage Shanks Starlite 2 Insert
This is a replica of the insert that goes into some Armitage Shanks tap tops. The original insert can easily strip the ‘teeth’ if the tap is overly tightened and need replacement.
Armitage Shanks part number S9604NU.
Note that this should be printed at as high a resolution as possible (.12mm for instance). The model is dimensionally accurate to the only measurements I could find but allowances must be made for the material shrinkage as this is a small part with a tight tolerance. In my case, using PLA, I added 0.4mm in the slicer.
It has an internal overhang which you can make cleaner with tree supports but it probably doesn't matter much to the functionality. Not sure of the longevity.
