This model was created for use in our Simulation Labs where we use a variety of thermometers from multiple manufacturers.
Printing Notes & Recommendations:
- 15-25% infill with PLA has worked great in our usage.
- The Thermometer Base includes two slots for spare Probe Covers.
- Pen Holder V1 has a solid base/bottom under the holes for pens.
- Marker Pen Holder V2 supports wider pens/markers, and has holes in each slot in case the marker or pen is too top heavy.
- There are two attachment points (for mounting); be sure to work with the bottom keyed screw slot first to make mounting easier.
- Utilizing Velcro adhesive we swap labels for when specific thermometers are to be used. (1 thermometer for a manikin, and 1 for a Standardize Patient vs. the same thermometer for multiple manikins (see the attached images for additional context).
