Hello, im uploading my work in progress project, the Ender 3 IDEX
I made custom toolheads, using Creality Dual Gear extruders, V6 hotends and 5015 blower fans. (the second toolhead also needs a 4020 axial fan, the same as stock)
For the second gantry I used the exact same pulley and belt as the stock X axis uses.
For bed levelling i use a inductive 8mm 5V probe.
This project requires a different, or second mainboard as it uses two (or three*) additional steppers, and a additional heater and thermistor.
*i also opted for a dual z upgrade, i highly recommend it.
All the parts were bought off Aliexpress.
The printer is controlled with Klipper, and my prototype works decently well.
This project is only a work in progress, i probably wont be releasing build instructions, only CAD, and it still is probably missing some parts. I decided to share it anyway, maybe it could be useful for somebody :)
