I made a couple different pickleball paddles, based off of a wide body paddle measurements. The paddle should be within pickleball specs provided no dimensions are changed to be larger than the current model.

Minimum print area is 12.5 x 8.25 inches.

I recommend printing handle in PLA.
The paddle frame\face can be printed in either PLA or PETG.

Depending on how your machine handles bridging, a support from build plate and support in the handles paddle socket may be helpful. Print the handle with either of the bolt sockets on the build plate, your choice. I recommed the following basic print settings for the handle.

4 top\bottom layers

5 perimeters

25% cubic infill for the handle

For the paddle frames there are two files to choose from. I would recommend the following settings for a paddle printed in either PETG or PLA

4 top\bottom layers

5 perimeters

Read on for recommended paddle frame infill.

If you want to play around with the weight of the paddle select the frame_solid.stl. You can adjust the amount of infill to get a heavier or lighter paddle weight. I recommend cubic infill at roughly 12%. This will get the paddle frame to weight around 200grams when printed in PLA or PETG. A higher infill will increase the weight of the paddle and make is slightly more rigid and give it a louder signature when hitting the ball.

If you don't want to adjust the weight use the frame4b.stl and use 25% infill to get a paddle that weights around 200grams.

Once paddle is printed leave on build plate and place a weight object that covers the entire surface of the paddle. The item you use should weight at least a couple lbs to help keep the paddle from bowing up when cooling! Allow paddle to cool until it is cool to touch!

Once the paddle is cool you can insert the paddle frame into the handle and secure it in place with a couple #10 socket head screws and machine nuts.

This is still a work in progress and will be updated as I make changes to the paddle to improve is playing performance.
