This Drum, Drum Cap, and Spring Assembly is part of my Auto-Rewinder for Ultimate Filament Drybox mashup. It is published as a separate model only because of different licensing for the original model. Stretched drum, drum cap, and spring by 23.33% in the z axis only, and added a grid pattern of ridges to the drum for better grip on filament spools.

Update July 10, 2025: Added a single-color version of the Drum with filled-in holes and with notches in only one direction to make it easier to print on single-color printers that have trouble with the diamond-shaped openings on the outside of the original drum version. The holes allow you to see the spring inside, but they serve no other functional purpose. This alternate version is named starting with “rewinderUltimateDryboxDrumSOLID-4c”.
