I've seen other things for this but I wanted a foot rest which looked like it matched more with the Ikea chair. It can be loosened off and put further down the legs as your baby gets bigger.
Printing
Mirror both the pieces for the other side.
I printed with 5 walls for extra strength and added supports for the pole clamp pieces.
Required extra bits
- 2x M5 16mm nut and bolt
- Piece of wood for the actual foot rest
Installation
Cut a piece of wood to the max height you want to have the foot rest and screw to the bottom the two bench pieces
Take the front legs off the chair and slide the pole clamp down each one to roughly the correct height and slot in the footrest which has the bench pieces attached.
Push the legs back onto the chair and adjust the footrest until you are happy with the height and tighten the nuts.
