I am using unistrut for a solar panel mount on my shingle roof. The unistrut is lifted off by sitting on a 3" long chunk of ¾ metal conduit and is sitting on a 40mmX40mm square washer on the deck and then lag bolted into the roof trusses with a 6 inch long lag bolt. The roof tar under the washer I feel is not enough to prevent leaks so I designed a boot that can be slid on afterwards. These when used with plenty of roof tar/ roof patch will direct any rain water around the mount point and hole you made in the roof with the lag bolt. Open end goes downhill as rain usually can not flow uphill.
Print these in ABS/ASA. I have not tried it in TPU as I can not find a high UV resistance TPU. They need supports and print the fastest when printed as oriented. use tree supports to make life easier digging the support out of the channel in the foot. I added the channel to help these adhere better allowing the roof tar to have something to grab onto. add a little tar to the vertical so it seals around the front of the conduit. open back lets you slip it on and any water that might get in there flow out and downhill.
There is a larger opening under the foot to allow for the washer to be crooked and for a larger washer up to 55mmX55mm.
