Cable Assembly Instructions
- Insert the Lightning port into the through-slot from the back.
- Twist the port 90° to align it with the holding slot.
- Push the port down into the slot.
- Route the cable through the slot underneath the dock
- this helps retain the connector and prevents full pull-out.
Limitation
The Lightning port is held in place by friction. When lifting the device, the connector may be pulled slightly, which can lead to minor surface scratches on the port. The cable routing mechanism prevents the connector from being fully removed, but does not eliminate this issue.
