This a cover for the 3mm adjuster nut used on IOM sailboat shrouds. This allows you to use your fingers instead of a tool for changing the location. It can be used for other sailboats and many other things as well. It is designed to fit a 3mm lock nut.
UPDATE 4/26- I added an adjuster that fits 2-56 nut and rod clevis from Sullivan, such as you might see on a Star 45 shroud. It is shown in the picture with orange adjusters.
