I originally designed this spacer for the Formfutura modular spool holder, but it has been working great on many other holders with OD up to 46 mm. The spacer helps the spool core rotate more smoothly and easily.
Sunlu has released 3 spool generations.
Gen 1 and Gen 2 spacers are compatible with each other but they don’t screw in completely or fit snugly, so make sure to use the right version for your spool. See the last photo for more details.
Gen 3 is not compatible with Gen 1 or Gen 2. It fits spool holders with an OD of up to 39 mm. It is currently not compatible with the Formfutura modular spool holder, but a future update is planned.
