This part is intended to be installed between the top cover and the vent cover of the Prusa Core One. It acts as a barrier to prevent insects, which are attracted to heat or light, from entering the printer.
I designed it to use minimal filament and to reuse of all original screws and nuts. With apppropiate infill percentage, it will be see through.
Print Settings:
Important:
Disable top and bottom solid layers in your slicer.
Please let the print cool to room roomtemperature before you attempt to remove it. As the part is thin and uses no solid infill, it will easily curl if removed while warm. Once at roomtemperature, just bend the plate to release it.
Infill:
Try different patterns for optimal results. I recommend rectilinear infill at 25–30%.
Material:
I used black PETG. Use black or clear PETG for best visual integration. Other colors will work but may create a visual distraction through the vent.
