I've made these to more visually track character stats in the Daggerheart tabletop RPG game, such as HP, Hope, Stress, and Armor. It can be used to track anything really that is earned and spent in discrete units.
Instructions
- Stats Token: print as many as you need to track the stats/resources you want.
- Stats Base (different sizes): print one per stat you want to track, with sizes according to the maximum amount of units you may have of that stat. For example, for tracking Hope you only need a 6x1 base. If your max is not a multiple of 6 (e.g. 10), print the next largest one (6x2 = 12).
- Stats Blanking Token: print as many as you need to block off slots in a base. For the example above, if you want to track HP and your max HP is 10, use a 6x2 base and use 2 blanking tokens to make sure you don't accidentally use slots 11 and 12 in that base. Alternatively, if you don't want to print many of these, you can print 1 per base and just put it in the first non-available slot (in the example above, put it in the 11th slot).
Print all models in the orientation provided in the files. No supports are needed, and no need for infill as well.
Colour printing suggestions
- Print the bases in a neutral colour that will contrast well with the resource tokens.
- Print the blanking tokens the same colour as the bases.
- Print each resource token a different colour (e.g. red for HP, white for Hope, etc)
- If you're printing all the bases the same colour, change the filament on the top 3-4 layers to be the same colour as the corresponding resource token. This adds a nice border that matches the colour of the resource, but the base still retains enough contrast that it is easy to count how many tokens are there. See the model photos for examples.
For tracking Fear with a sliding mechanism, check also Daggerheart Fear Tracker (abacus-style, mountable on GM screen).
