Inomata MOD Multi-Purpose Sidekick Box

Why I Made This MOD

I have to give huge props to the original Inomata-K Mk2 design, especially for its shaft and lock system. It's precise and secures everything so perfectly. As someone who loves to DIY filament boxes, I naturally ended up with a bunch of these extra fasteners. Plus, I just really wanted to reuse those cute little lock keys! That's what sparked the idea for this remix.

This modification doesn't include the original parts. You'll need to print the following components from the REMIX source model to use with this design:

Bonus: Mini Swatch Card for Samples

We've also included a swatch card designed to fit into the top of the mini-box. It can hold three filament samples, perfect for using your box as a small display case for your collection!

2025-10-08 :

I've added a card that lets you display three filament swatches side-by-side. I also optimized the position of the locating pins (the small nubs) that hold each swatch in place, making sure they fit better.
