Great thanks to @OscarTbatt for preparing and sharing the model.
Here comes the awaited remix, bringing ease of printing in multiple parts. The resulting mini stands at around 10cm, scale as needed. Can be printed without color change or AMS, although recommended for the base - because of the checkers pattern.
In the files, you'll find prepared parts in optimal orientation. There is also the complete model assembled.
Printing Tips:
- 0.08mm layer height
- !!! Raft for almost all parts !!!
- Supports required
- Lower hotend temp for smaller parts
- Z hop if printing multiple thin parts at the same time
- Infill: Gyroid 5-10%
Assembling Tips:
Assembling the parts should be intuitive, you will feel the parts meshing together once you place them correctly. You can use the pictures from me and Oscar as a reference.
- The star shall be made from two halves with one tip glued to the hand.
- For the left sleeve, there is a pointy end that needs to be aligned with the body and scarf in a certain way, and there is a dent that houses the fur from the head.
- For easier printing, I made the glasses flat, you should heat them up and bend in place.
Held together by superglue (+ hopes and dreams), sanded the contact surfaces beforehand for a better bond and look.
This print can be somewhat challenging, so if you manage to get a nice result, make sure to share it as a make, it would make my day! 😄
