Technics SL-BD20 Keepalive

This repository is a collection of after market parts for Technics SL-BD20 that you can print and repair the turntable yourself.
Thus the "keepalive".

Cable Module

The SL-BD20 has a proprietary ground cable, which is hard to find in 2025.
Thankfully, the turntable's internal is pretty simple and fixable, so I made it my own according to the original demission.

Part List

• 4mm banana socket acting as ground connection
  This demission is suitable for most turntable ground cables.
  The socket is 10 mm wide, 30.8 mm long, m6 threads with 2 plastic gaskets between the holes (the hole demission is 7.5 mm).

• 2 RCA socket
  8.1mm wide, 23.4mm long, with 5.6mm threads.

Cover Hinges

Hinges are designed with a combination of Hinge repair by ZoKtorR and eBay Repair Hinge Kits. With some small tweaks.

Highly recommend printed 90 degree sideways for stronger print.

• 2 * m5 screws/bolts

• 2 * m5 nuts

• 4 * m5 washers (optional)

Feet

The only other thing that I didn't design is the feet. The rubber can get soft and sticky. I got lazy and just found these made by Gizus.
