Wanted to design and print a piece of track to see how it looked/felt/rolled. My engines will all be battery-controlled cabs with electrified track not needed, so seemed like something to look into.
Have to say, it rolls super smooth. Probably more flexible than you'd like, but that can be solved easily enough.
This test doesn't necessarily prove anything with only a single piece, but worth more investigation…..
I added a tab/slot combo on either end so subsequent pieces will lock together on a single tie making the final assembly pretty seamless.
