BatBox – Compact Battery Organizer for AAA, AA, 9V, and CR2032

This 3D printable battery box is designed to neatly and securely hold:

16× AA batteries

15× AAA batteries

2× 9V batteries

6× CR2032 coin cells

Dimensions: 166x86x60mm (approx.)

Thanks to careful height tuning and interior shaping, all battery types are easy to insert and remove. The lid closes smoothly and securely, without interference from batteries—even those in the front row.

The lid is held in place by four 5×4 mm cylindrical magnets, providing a satisfying and strong snap closure. Battery compartments have stepped heights, ensuring a snug fit while preventing rattling or movement during transport—even when shaken.

🔄 Versions Included:

Embossed label version – text sits 1mm in the lid (single color friendly)

Flat label version – for simpler two-color prints with flush text (do not print in single color)

Blank version – for clean, single-color printing or your own customization

🖨 Printing Info:

Recommended material: PLA (dimensionally stable, easy to print)

Designed for easy printing without supports (Embossed version may use supports for the smoothest lettering results)

Includes .3mf files for all 3 variants with optimized print settings

.stp/.step files also included for customization or use in other slicers

🛠 Assembly:

• 2× M3×20 mm screws (⚠ do not use countersunk heads!)
• 4× 5×4 mm cylindrical magnets (Recommended: Link to AliExpress)

BatBoxes on pictures printed on Bambu printer – text clarity and top surfaces may vary slightly based on slicer. For better and smoother embossed text, I suggest using PrusaSlicer, which tends to produce smoother lettering. Another option is to add supports to the letters.
