When using a SATA power extension cable to connect multiple hard drives, i found the length of wire between the power connectors too long, and even in a case like the Fractal Meshify 2 XL, the space between the hard drives and the case panel wasn't enough to accommodate the extension cable without putting pressure on the cable when the panel was installed.
These little clips take up the slack of the wire between connectors, increasing the clearance between the SATA power cable and the case panel.
