I've been through a few bento boxes in my other printers. When I tried the 5015 fan version is when i felt that it finally had some real airflow. The 4020 and 4028 fans just didn't move very much air, especially when trying to push through all that carbon. After getting my Centauri Carbon I wanted to adapt the same fan assembly from my P1S to it. I added a mounting point to the rear of the bento box that attaches it to the side panel.

You can use the carbon and hepa parts from the model I remixed or your compatible units that you've already used. This remix has the 6x2mm magnets but is compatible with the 4x2mm magnet parts. The original 5015 model also contains the wire plugs that go in each end. I'd recommend making them out of a softer tpu than 95a if you have it.

The rear screw requires a heat insert and uses a stock screw location in the side panel. The screw just needs to be longer to reach, I used an M3x10mm. The switch side has a location for another screw that attaches to the bottom panel of the printer. You can use it or not. I had the side panel off and drilled and tapped a hole for an M3 screw.

I ran a two conductor wire out of the bento box down the opening in the far right corner. It comes out right by the 24v power supply. There are two unused terminals on the factory power supply, one positive and one negative terminal. I crimped spade terminals onto the wires for connection. Remember to zip tie your wires up so they don't contact the belt, pulleys or tensioner.

The only drawback to directly wiring it in is you have to remember to shut it off. Optionally I added a normaly open thermal switch inline to have it automatically turn on when the bed is above 50C and shut off when it cools below 50C. I added it inline to the negative from the power supply. I used high temp tape to attach it to the bed.

M3x10mm pan head or socket head cap screw: for the side panel/rear of bento box screw

SPST rocker switch x 1

6x2mm magnets x 12
