Get Close-Up with This DIY Lens Adapter
This compact lens adapter allows you to take detailed close-up (macro-style) shots using a 36 mm diameter lens—perfect for experimenting with optics on a budget. The lens fits snugly in place with a friction-fit design, and the adapter is held simply by hand while shooting.
I salvaged my lens from an old projection TV, but similar lenses can be found in other optical devices. This model is a great starting point for photography or DIY optics enthusiasts and could easily inspire further projects, like building your own macro rig or adjustable lens mounts.
