ENG:
Greetings, friends! In the course of my work and hobby, I wanted to get myself a microscope. After studying the offers on the market, I realized that there is no one that suits me, since most models have a very small focal length, which makes soldering and working with small parts difficult.
I remembered that I've had an old surveillance camera (rvi 199b) lying around for a long time, which I don't plan to use for its intended purpose. It was decided to figure out how to make a microscope out of it. Use a circuit like in cheap microscopes (where a small hole without a lens is used as a lens) I didn't want to because of the low aperture value. I also had an old camera with an M42 mount and an Industriar 50-2 lens lying around for a very long time. On reflection, I realized that due to the size of the matrix (⅓", crop factor 7.2) and the minimum focusing distance of the lens (0.65 m), I would get a very good approximation, which would allow me to raise the microscope high enough to work with both a soldering iron and manipulate fairly large details. All that remains is to assemble all this into a structure.
All the components except the body were taken from the surveillance camera, and I took a metal mount and lens from the camera (the camera was not working, so I didn't feel sorry for it).
During the modeling process, I decided to add the ability to take macro photos of even closer objects by reducing the minimum focusing distance. The result is a microscope with a movable matrix mount (for macro photography) and the ability to mount various lenses with an M42 mount. There is also an unobvious possibility to use this design as a telescope when installing a lens with a large focal length (I tested it with an m42 lens and a focal length of 200 mm, getting an EFR in the region of 1400 mm), which allows you to try to observe the moon (perhaps something else if the matrix allows you).
As an adapter from the CCTV camera to the computer, I used the EasyCap, which I removed from the case and replaced the USB connector with a Type-C. To increase the rigidity of the structure, I inserted two steel bars with a diameter of 4 mm between the halves of the body. The connector of the housing elements is screwed onto 2 M4 screws with a length of 30 mm through the mounting handle (it is not necessary to install it, but you will need to take shorter screws).
I post all the models in the STEP format so that you can adapt the microscope to your components.
