Shoot Through PCAR Silly Shell Adapter !
Integrated a "Rippcar" into Corvus's adapter with a silly collet female… Dumped the BCAR idea as it had too much pressure drop and replaced with simpler and more functional integrated PCAR.
So the goal was to have a PCAR for accuracy in the Foxbat and then be able to fire Silly Shells without compromise ;) Yes there are BCARS / PCARS shells but to use them as a shoot through was problematic as the alignment had to be reliably near perfect. I could not never it to work as well as a dedicated PCAR / BCAR directly attached to the barrel - so I mashed up this.
The front + PCAR section was trimmed to minimize the length. Still looked kinda ugly so I added some cosmetic knurling and slots. Works great !
Notes:
Your printer need to be dialed in as required to print a good PCAR. I lightly hit the inside with 320 sandpaper and bit of heat to smooth the ridges. See Thanhtacles' link for details.
My print settings - YMMV - No supports. 0.4 nozzle, PLA +. 5 walls, 20% infill
