On my first day at the range with the great Towa APN-30 Label Applicator I suddenly (after dropping it on the handle) had to squeeze it multiple times to get a sticker out. It only got worse and eventually was completely locked up. After opening it up at home I found four teeth had been broken off of the spur gear. Unable to find a replacement part after minutes of not looking I decided to make my own. I read online that this is a common problem so hopefully this helps someone else.
