I made these brackets for mounting a laptop to the side of a desk because I couldn’t find any designs I like that didn’t involve drilling into the desk. Print 2 of everything and then screw the screw into the clamp before attaching the screw pad to the ball joint on the end. I included the STEP files so you can adjust these to fit whatever desk/laptop you have, though they should support desks up to 2" thick already. Slot for laptop is 1" thick.
Printed on an MK4S in Prusament PETG on 0.25mm SPEED with 15% gyroid infill. No supports or post processing required. Feels super solid when attached to desk. Tighten screws one or two turns past contact, do not overstress the clamp. You could add rubber pads or TPU pieces to the desk interfaces and the laptop slot to prevent slipping.
