I needed a way to attach a bearing to a bike handle and quickly made this design. By default, it was made for a 22mm tube with a 608zz bearing and 2 Ø3mm screws, but it is easy to adjust these dimensions to your needs through the given fusion360 file. The screw diameter is not parametric but has to be adjusted in the timeline due to fusion limitations.
This model was initially imagined as part of my bike anemometer model, but as it could be useful in other situations, I separated it into its own model publication. The use cases of this model are only limited by your imagination, but for example, it can be useful to add rotating trinkets to your bike as decoration.
Printing information:
- Print the top upside down and the bottom part on its side, the model are already placed in these positions
- Use regular supports for the top part
- No brim is needed but it can help increase adhesion to the printbed
- I recommend using PETG to have a bit of flexibility around the tube diameter.
