This is for the Nocturne camera you can find over on the Luke's Lab webstore. I wanted a camera that can operate without the chamber light on since it's so bright that I don't like to leave it on at night. Works great alongside a Rasperry Pi running octoprint or similar

Necessary Hardware-

  1. 4 M2x3mm screws
  2. 9 Round magnets sized 10mmX2mm
  3. Nocturne camera
  4. Front and Back Printed parts you found here

Print/Assembly Instructions-

  • Supports- I've tried printing it both laying on it's back and standing it up like it is when you open the file. Standing it up and using tree supports both is quicker, uses less filament, and seems to print a lot better. If you lay it down, just make sure you use support blockers on the screw holes, as they can be difficult to extract supports from.
  • Assembly is pretty much as you see it. Glue in the magnets with super glue, and get the screws just snug when securing the Nocturne in the case to prevent it stripping.
  • Make sure the magnets on the inside faces aren't opposing before gluing it. Seems like an obvious thing I'm sure, but it doesn't hurt to mention it.
  • Filament- I used PC, but ASA or at least PETG is recommended since this will be inside the build volume which reaches upwards of 55, even rarely 60C when printing.
  • Infill and walls you can leave as they are, this part will not see much if any force on it so it does not need to be incredibly strong.
