If you own the Tivoli Audio Model Three BT, and like me, love its retro analogue design, but hate its non-dimming clock light that seems like a WWII search light at 3am.
Yes I am sensitive to light.
Then this is for you.
A simple bezel in two (printed) parts that you can just pop on the clock at night, and still see the time, rather than blocking it off with a book as I was doing before, and remove during the day.
Glued between the two bezels is a clear disc cut to size as a base, I used the packaging from a “pill box” from the local reject shop. Attached to that is cheap window tint from the auto store, I used three layers to get the desired tint, use more or less as required.
It works brilliantly for me, the light no longer keeps me awake whilst also still being able to see the time when you want to.
