A simple fixture to hold a bank of carburetors during bench service. The stl's are sized to hold a Yamaha XJ 750 / 650 carb bank but I have included the parametric FreeCad files so they can be customized to suit any similar bank (to customize simply enter the required dimensions in the attached spreadsheet). Simply measure the OD of the carb where it enters the manifold and the centre-to-centre spacing of the outside two carbs (not required for the single).
Three different designs available to suit printer size and need. 300x300 requires a minimum plate size of that dimension, but can be directly bolted into a vise. 200x200 is just tall enough to hold the bank and can be printed diagonally on a 200x200 plate then screwed to a piece of plywood.
Finally the 50x50 file is a single carb jig that can be printed on the smallest of printers. Suitable for single carbs or print two and screw to a piece of plywood for a bank.
Secure the carbs to the jig with gear-type hose clamps. The bank can be inverted in the jig when removing float bowls and main jets.
