We had a discussion if it was possible to print working M6 threads on FDM printers.
We have established that it is generally possible, and I have produced a working example with a 0.4 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.12 mm.
The provided file should function as an example or a starting point for experimenting with threads in FreeCAD.
Note: You need to tinker around with clearings and print resolution/layer height to adapt to the specifics of your printer. The exported meshes are only added as examples.
