Purpose
I got tired of my Fingerbot's capacitive touch button registering presses when I brush past it. Prevent accidental button presses by sticking this little shield around the button.
Versions
VHB slot version
- Includes 1mm deep slots for little rectangles of VHB Gorilla tape. (Mine was 1.3mm thick)
- Two 12.6 x 4.8mm rectangles should fit perfectly
- Uses shallow chamfers to avoid need for supports
- Orientation: The “outside” face should be on the build plate. Model and project file should be in the correct orientation
No slot version
- Completely flat on bottom. Uses fillets for better feel.
- Orientation: Larger “inside” face should be on the build plate.
Misc
- 3mm thick. Feel free to scale Z-axis to change thickness to suit your needs.
