Ah, the end of camping season in Canada—a time to reflect on all the little tasks I should have done but didn't. One that kept haunting my backcountry dreams was creating a cap for my trusty propane-powered gizmo—the legendary "tiger torch." Not exactly a Boy Scout here; I need a roaring fire without hassle.

The tiger torch sports a snazzy 3/4 inch flared fitting, also known by its fancy names: "male POL valve" or "male fitting cap." Who knew propane had such a sophisticated vocabulary? Anyway, in my quest for a quick fix, I stumbled upon a design by the brilliant InqEnzo on Printables. Their design was a lifesaver, but I added a little tweak—a cap with a hole, perfect for attaching it to the torch with paracord or sturdy twine. No more cap-hunting in the wild!

Oh, and about that turning knob in the photos, credits go to JSKCreations. It's as is—no fancy mods from me. I printed it in PLA+ at 90% infill, then gave it a spritz of Scotchgard Water & Sun Shield with UV Protector. ABS printing and I aren't on good terms yet, so until we make peace, this works just fine!

Feel free to edit my design in Tnkercad. You can find the design here.

Happy camping, folks—and may your caps never go astray!
