I decided to build a 29" unicycle from an old bike I got on Facebook Marketplace. I didn't want to spend a dime I didn't have to, and a unicycle seat is like $30. I'm not paying that. So instead I used $20 of filament and many hours designing and printing one instead! (reminder that your hobbies don't have to make sense!)

The bottom part is meant to attach to a seat post with an M8 hole drilled through for a bolt. In hindsight, I wish I would have done a clamp type thing instead, because it became slightly wobbly after riding. Not enough to affect anything, just enough that I know it's there and I'm annoyed by it.

The support bracket is meant to be printed lying down, with pleeeenty of walls and infill (I think I did like 6 walls and 40% infill). It will need supports, but they come off fairly easily. ASA is a great choice.

The seat top prints in two halves, from TPU. I did like… 4 walls? and 40% infill? and frankly I wish I'd done less. it's a pretty firm seat. do some test prints before you commit.

for assembly, the two halves slide onto the curved dovetail portion of the bracket, and get glued together with whatever you want! I solvent welded them, but you could do a printing pen, or even just superglue.

And of course you're doing this at your own risk. if your print breaks and you fall and break yourself, that's on you and your creation.
