Introduction
I really loved the design of the original this remix is based on. However, its print orientation is not optimal, as explained in this Slant3D video. While the original design can be printed in the optimal orientation (as shown in one of the pictures), the access holes for the two inner screws end up as awkward bridges, which require supports or tend to collapse. This remix fixes that problem by using sacrificial layers. Additionally, I added a chamfer to the new bottom surface to help with elephant's foot issues. You can see both of these changes in the comparison image: the top is the original, the bottom is the remix.
Printing
For best results, I recommend using a good number of perimeters (I used 4) and a decent amount of isotropic infill (I used 40% cubic). The ones pictured were made of PETG.
Files
The GPL license used on this remix requires supplying the source, which I have provided as a FreeCAD project. Since this was made using an imported STL, the geometry isn't fantastic. If the author of the original can publish a STEP file, I'll make a cleaner version. I've also provided a STEP export: all decent slicers can handle this format, and it's a lot better than STL. If you really want an STL, either export it from the FreeCAD project or ask me.
Mounting
This corner bracket requires four M5s. I found that 12mm SHC (DIN912)s work fine for the outer holes, but the inner holes only comfortably fit 10mm ones. If you use BSHC or something similar, you might be able to use 12mm for both. I also used M5 hammer nuts, but any other kind of T-nut should work, to mount these to the extrusions.
