Ever lost your keys down a drain, or otherwise needed to extract a small ferromagnetic item from a space too small to admit your digits? Never undergo the shakes, sweats, and humiliation of such an event again, with this, the EDC Retrieval Magnet Holder.
Simply glue your disc magnet of choice into the dedicated, precision-engineered slot and await the opportunity to swoop to the rescue. When the occasion calls for it, simply thread some string, microcord, plant fibre, or convenient sinew through the patent-pending SquareCircle Cordage Receptacle, tie a fixed loop (we suggest a bowline), and commence retrieval.
With a sleek, classic silhouette, and small enough to fit in any EDC kit, pocket, drawer, toolbox, or glovebox, you'll be ready any time: it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. A fully parameterised Fusion file is included so you can adapt the holder to any magnet size.
Easy and quick to print, and at standard sizes uses less than a gram of material, even with 100% infill - perfect for those last meters. The magnet slots are sized exactly, so you may want to use X-Y Hole Compensation, depending on your printer accuracy and/or material shrinkage.
