However there are some tricky parts… :-)
So, this is a MOD for this great DKS-Basic RC Chassis Model.
This is for everybody, who has problems with mounting magnets on both sides - chassis and body either. The polarity of the magnets puts assembling of all together a bit of headache, so I decided to do it in much easier way instead of using hot-melt gun or a glue when assembling magnets to body shell:
• The magnets are assembled only to the body - by M3x8 Conical Bolts
• Theese adapters are made to mount on chassis, raplacing the magnets
• You will need 8 pcs of M6 DIN 440R Washers to put inside those adapters (mine has exact dimensions 20,9 mm outer diameter; 1,8 mm thickness)
• You should replace 8 pcs M3x8 Conical Bolts by M3x12 Conical Bolts
• 8 pcs M3 nuts stay the same as on original magnets mount
With theese adapters, the body fits to chassis perfectly and is very firmly connected together. In addition, the shape of the rim on adapters leads the body exactly to the correct position.
I recommend to use PETG for print - it's appreciated to be a bit flexible.
Also recommend to print in position as placed in 3MF files.
No supports needed.
