I love it when my filament is perfectly dry, so I do everything I can to achieve the lowest possible humidity inside my Ace Pro.
I'm presenting a container for silica gel or molecular sieves. I personally use 4A molecular sieves and consistently achieve a very stable humidity level of 2–4%, which perfectly protects my filament spools.
The container is mounted on the rear wall of the Ace Pro door. I used Tesa Powerstrip velcro strips for mounting, but you can use any other temperature-resistant strips.
Printing Details
The container is printed in three elements: the front grid, the container body, and the container cap (for easily pouring in and out the molecular sieves).
The front grid should be glued into the container body—I used T-7000 glue.
Print only with PETG/ABS/ASA, as these are the only suitable materials.
Recommended Print Settings
Layer height: 0.2mm
Top and bottom layers/shells: Set to 0 (This is a crucial detail)
Infill: 40-45%
Infill pattern: Very important—set the infill type to Honeycomb.
You can also use my ready-made printing profile in the 3mf file.
