Classic Mini Third Breaklight Holder

Now that everyone drives around in huge SUVs, I added a third brake light to the rear shelf to improve the visibility of my classic Mini in traffic.

This printed part attaches the generic brake light to the rear parcel shelf.

To do this, three holes need to be drilled in it, two for the bracket and one for the cables.

I recommend using a right-angle attachment for the cordless drill.

Electrically, the lamp can be easily connected to the brake light of the rear light.

The light measures 13.4 x 2.68 x 1.43 cm, with a hole spacing of 116mm.

Arches have been added to the back through which the cables can be routed.

M4 countersunk screws and nuts are required for mounting to the parcel shelf, M3 screws and nuts for mounting the light itself.

I recommend to print this with PETG or a equally heat resistant fillament, to prevent warping from the sun.
