I needed to accomodate larger 2 KG spools for the RatRig Vcore 4 500. This is a remix of the original.
Changes made include extending the overall length to accomodate wider spools, beefing up the original part up to handle the extra weight and increasing the outer lip to hold the spool in place
For this to work for me, I needed to use M6x16 screws to attach to a 3030 extrusion. I also needed to replace the stock 3030 extrusion for a longer one ( ~200mm) to accomodate the larger spool diameter. Finally, I needed to cut longer PTFE tubes to fit into the longer top grooves.
I printed in PETG laying on its side at 20% infill with 4 perimeters.
