This is a plugin part for one of the original radiator valve adapters included with the Sonoff TRV. It enables to mount the original adapter to the radiator valve, while stabilizing the second-largest pin enough, so the valve can be adjusted by the Sonoff TRV. I'm using it for Rossweiner radiator valve threads (M33x2).
Printing:
Print the part at least from PETG, better from ABS or ASA for heat resistance. It won't have contact with the valve itself, but is pretty near to it.
Print slow to have “sharp” corners, so the part won't come loose due to overly rounded corners. Print it on one of the flat sides to increase strength, so it looks triangular from the side (like at the last picture).
Installation:
1. Use the adapter seen within the pictures
2. Press it open and fit the printed part with some force into place (no metal screw inserted) - you need some force.
3. Use the second largest/longest pin and insert it like on the pictures (drill the hole to 4mm if necessary)
4. Install the adapter by pressing and “screwing” it on the radiator thread - this is a bit fiddly. Use the metal screw to secure it properly.
