This model allows you to mount a Polybox to the side extrusion of the IR3 V2 printer.

This drybox mount is a model designed to allow you to mount a Polymaker Polybox directly in line with the filament path of the IdeaFormer IR3 V2 3D printer. This replaces the stock spool holder (occupies the same space) and mounts directly onto the 2020 extrusions of the frame using 4 M5 roll-in T nuts and 4 M5x12 screws. The drybox holder should sit just outside the build volume of the machine. All parts are pre-oriented for optimal printing, but please remember to add supports or turn on Bridge Counterbore Holes for the Body component.
Two versions of the mounting clips are included:
Standard version: No side supports, barebones mount that doesn't need supports and uses slightly less material.
Extra Support: This version has small ledges on the sides of the clips to help support the weight of the drybox and keep it from tilting. I don't think this is strictly necessary, but I've chosen to use these for extra stability. They will require supports to print.
I designed this model to help reduce drag when printing flexible and moisture sensitive filaments by mounting a drybox directly under the runout sensor. For best results with flexibles, remove the stock PTFE tube (I left mine in place to support the cables), and add two short lengths of PTFE tube to the runout sensor and toolhead to keep the filament from being pulled at sharp angles.
