Two styles of cartoon-like flames were 3D-printed from clear PETG on a Prusa Mini, using a 0.10mm layer height. There is a clearance hole in the bottom of the flame boarder to fit a 3mm yellow, flickering LED which is secured with hot glue from the underside. Four of these LED-equipped flames were wired in parallel to a 9-volt battery, which provided power for the "burning" effect on a custom "burning building" costume throughout the night.
