Made this custom for a friends headset and shelf as a little CAD practice. Fits tight on a 12mm thick shelf and holds a headset with 30mm headband width perfectly. The holding part is slightly angled and has a lip to prevent the headset from sliding off.
The FreeCAD file is attached, so the model can be adjusted to fit your shelf. Or I can do it for you, if you leave a comment with the measurement.
