The ultimate pair for my CCG Deck Holders (Orig Mk I and Mk II). This scaled replica Engineering Field Kit from ST:TNG holds 8 of my mkII deck holders. This is a great way to travel to and from tournaments or, in my case, on vacation and take the universe with you!
The files are for two sides and a custom print hinge. I had lots of issues printing the halves standing vertically (my printer, not the file) and didn't want to waste the filament to print them laying flat. So if you have issues, feel free to cut the model up and then glue it together. I'll upload my finished version once the paint dries.
I'm uploading two version here, mk II and mk III. Mk II is for printing the case halves as single objects, Mk III is for printing each half in 3 parts. The hinge is the same for both models. Mk I included in case you want an undevided case to customize to your hearts content. FYI, I never liked the hinge on Mk I, so use at your own risk.
My final ‘keeper’ is Mk III printed as 6 parts. I printed on my pair of K2 Plus units in PETG at 0.2mm layer height and .25% infill. The infill can go down, 25% is just my default.
