This is a tray, for use with Robert_28442s modular tray system.

The concept is simple:  Why not utilize WAGO clamps in a 19" non-DIN rack environment? For rack builds, who want to utilize WAGO 221-2411 clamps, either without din rails or alongside traditional DIN-rail based arrangement, this model is designed to give you the ability to consider more options of mounting them as before, even if it seems unusual at first.

Disclaimer: Make sure to know, what you're doing. Products, such as the WAGO 221-2411 clamps, are widely used by qualified personell. Make sure to read WAGO's installation instructions, which should be inside their packaging.

Print settings

  • Print face down. (You'll still need supports for this model, to print the front successfully)
  • Set your layer hight to .2
  • Use the default nozzle diameter and extrusion width
  • PETG (probably PLA too) should work fine.

Assembly

Note: Since this tray is friction fit for this particular tray system, you might want to slightly sand parts of the surface, if they aren't as smooth as expected.

  1. After printing the tray, remove the support structure from it.
  2. Insert the needed amount of WAGO 221-2411 clamps from one side to another.
  3. If you want to Proceed with WAGO's installation guide to install the wiring inside the clamps.
  4. Insert the tray into the rack piece. The clamps should fit snuggly with the tray.
