Introduced glassThickness variable since I forgot the first time around
Background
A friend tasked me with designing and printing these since he lost his original thumb screws and rubber insulators during his move.
After more iterations than I want to admit to get the tolerances right and make the screw head sit flush, I've got this clean and simple one piece solution.
It's been designed with 5mm hexagonal standoffs and a 4mm Glass Panel in mind, like on the Enermax Makashi II MKT50 my friend handed me, but can be customized to your needs.
BOM
4x M3x5x7 Flat Head Screws from this cheap PC Screw Set or similar
Print Settings
Material: Any (TPU idk)
Precise Wall: On
Precise Z Height: On
Supports: Normal (unless you can't get them off cleanly)
I recommend printing with the small section down, as visible in the 3mf. The screws head won't sit flush due to the curled surface otherwise.
Any Print Settings not mentioned are free to choose.
Customization
You need to make these 3 measurements to customize it to your case:
The Glasses' Thickness
The Inner Diameter of the Holes in your Glass Panel
The Wench Size of your Cases Standoff
Optional: The Diameter from the Head and Thread of your Screw of Choice
