**Strong 3D Printable Fabric**
Hey there! Here’s an awesome 3D printable fabric I created, inspired by Printables user 47’s amazing TPU Super Fabric. This material is designed to withstand up to 400 lbs, but please note that this weight limit is based on tests conducted in computer software, so it may not be entirely accurate. If it doesn’t work as expected, it could be due to your printer not being calibrated correctly, so make sure to check your settings!
**Key Features:**
**Super Strong**
This fabric is built to support up to 400 lbs without breaking—pretty impressive, right? -
**No Supports Needed:**
You can print it without any support. The design makes it easy to create cool shapes while saving time and materials. -
**Flexible and Tough:**
Made of 100% TPU, this fabric is both flexible and durable. It can bend, stretch, and withstand impacts, which is ideal for projects such as prosthetics or protective gear.
**Compatible with Different Printers:**
You can use it with both FDM, and resin printers.
**You can can combine them**
The lightweight material allows for stitching them together in a string manner. However, stitching points can be weak spots, so avoid the edges and use strong thread and stitching techniques.
**Print Tips:**
**Printer Settings:**
I recommend using a slower print speed (around 30-40 mm/s) to help everything stick together well.
**Temperature:**
Set your nozzle temperature between 220°C and 250°C and keep the heated bed at around 60°C to prevent warping.
**Layer Height:**
Use a layer height of 0.1 to 0.3 mm for a good balance between detail and strength.
**Cooling:**
Keep the cooling to a minimum to avoid warping, especially on larger prints. A fan speed of about 50% should work well.
**Post-Processing:**
Consider post-print treatments like annealing to improve the strength even more. This fabric is a game-changer for your 3D printing projects! It lets you create strong, flexible items for all sorts of applications. Whether you’re customizing something or making industrial tools, this TPU fabric is a fantastic choice—just remember to calibrate your printer for the best results!
Enjoy printing!
**Notes**
We currently only have three different sizes, but the 240mm will be available soon once I get my computer to stop having errors every time.
