Adjustable Cable Organizer Combs for Cooler Master Qube 540/500

Everyone with a computer knows the hassle of all of the wires and cables that are needed to hook the computer up.  Network Cables, HDMI cables, USB cables and Power cables all hanging out willy nilly.  You could use zip ties and try and make them look neater.  Or, you can use these Cooler Master Qube 540 Cable Comb mounts with adjustable position and orientation to run your cables neatly along the outside of your case.

They're easy to print - you can use the Prusa Slicer project file I have included here to get the right supports and print outcome, or you can mix/match your own.  The part consists of the cabinet clip, which snaps onto the side of a Cooler Master Qube 540 (or Qube 500) case, and the custom cable comb wire organizer.  

If you are going to slice your own, I recommend a flexible filament for the comb (either PETG or a Shore 95a or Shore 98a) printed with no supports required at 0.2mm layer height (helps get the dimensions correct).   For the cabinet mounting clip, I prefer cabinet side down with removable snug supports, printed at 0.2mm layer height.  The supports snap off cleanly and you won't have any supports to mess with for the grooves that the cable comb slides into.  

The dimensions of the grooves in the clip are already adjusted for the normal layer shrinkage you expect with a 3D print, so the combs slide readily but snugly into the cabinet clips.

After printing, remove the supports (they come off cleanly) and take a small file or fine sandpaper and clean up the edges of the cable comb mount bayonet - the Elephants foot effect where the bottom layer is squished a bit leaves and edge you will want to take off for easy fit.  I took a small file and also cleaned up the edges of the grooves on the cabinet clip - after only a few swipes the two parts will fit smoothly together, but not be loose.  If you have to push hard, do a little more clean up - but it really comes out clean with only a little after work.

Then, to assemble your cable combs onto the cabinet clip you can choose the orientation to position the cable organizer comb - three grooves are provided to allow you to position the combs vertically or horizontally.  The easy placement that the Cooler Master Qube 540 cabinet sides and top provide allows you to position as many cable organizer clips as you like to guide your cables neatly with a professional look.
