V2 of https://www.printables.com/model/1278983-filament-dryer-guide. This worked reasonably but had some friction and the angles needed complicated things.
This is definitely a lower friction option. Also easier to install using the existing fittings without need to drill. In fact the freer nature of it caused some issues if the filament roll momentum or imbalance pushed filament out causing slack and falling off roller. This needed deeper roller and extra guides to prevent. Will see how this version goes.
Assembly
- Axle pushes into clip
- Fix in place using the existing fittings. There is a cutout that allows rubber plug to be fitted.
