Generative Design Laptop Stand

This is a laptop stand designed in Fusion 360 using the generative design feature. It is designed around the Lenovo Thinkpad P16 Gen 2, but it should fit most laptops as this is probably one of the thickest around. 

• Design
  • Being more vertically oriented than most laptop stands allows for a higher screen height to reduce strain, better match external monitors, and reduce footprint to leave more open desk space. 
  • *Warning, laptop screen must open to around 120deg to be vertical in the open position. The pictured Dell XPS 15 9570 can be stored closed but it's screen doesn't open enough to be usable open.

• Modularity 
  • On the front supports, there are included dovetails to easily design and add on any desired front plates (step files included for designing your own easily). I have included one I made to hold a phone (it also works to hold pens and prop my keyboard on when needing more desk space. 

• Post-Processing
  • For added security and stability, add rubber anti-slip pads to contact surfaces: Base, top contact, backside of front support.

• Print Settings
  • Should work fine at most default settings, but I would recommend minimum 4 walls and 20% infill as it is holding a very expensive object.
